X96Δ is a specialized product - a differential temperature controller that takes in two inputs, performs a function on them and indicates or use the calculated result for process control. Standard operations available with this controller are difference, average, maximum and minimum functions. It accepts 2 inputs from 8 types of thermocouples (B, E, J, K, N, R, S, T), Pt100 RTD sensors and 4 - 20 mA linear input. A large LED triple-display on the front of the process controller shows the calculated value in the upper display and the two measured process values or setpoints in the middle and lower displays. 15 additional LEDs indicate relay status, the function performed on the two input values, setpoints and communication status. Tactile buttons on the front of the allow operators to easily set up to 4 setpoints for either input or the function selected. X96Δ's electromagnetic relays trigger heating, cooling or any of 6 types of alarms - full-scale high/low, deviation high/low, inband and outband. It also retransmits two isolated output signals to other devices such as a Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) or Solid-State Relay (SSR). Signal isolation protects your devices and machines downstream of our instruments from damaging fluctuations in the input signal.
