Heat Tracing RTD with Terminal Flameproof Head

Heat tracing RTD sensors are designed to measure surface temperatures of process pipes where temperature control is critical to prevent freeze-up and to maintain viscosity for sustained flow. Built with a SS316 sheath, they are designed for a wide range of chemical, food and pharmaceuticals applications. This Push-Fit RTD with an angular rigid stem is built for easy installation and replacement. Cold arm lengths can be selected to suit the insulation thickness. Curved Pads, made of SS304 or SS316 are constructed to match the pipe diameter and can be welded or clamped to the pipe.The pad should be welded after removing the RTD as the high welding temperature may damage the inner element. Our heat tracing RTD sensors measure temperatures between -50 and 250°C. Their 3-wire Pt100 RTD element can be constructed in single or dual assembly in Class B as per the IEC 751 standard for RTD sensors. The terminal head of the RTD sensors has a standard 1/2” BSP (F) single cable entry and a single compression cable gland.
