Pipe Line RTD sensors, built with tri clover connections and weld-in TEE joints are designed to measure the temperatures of process fluids in pipes, usually found in food, dairy, beverage, pharmaceutical and chemical industries, where maintenance of hygiene is critical in order to prevent contamination. Tri clover connections offers a clean and hygienic connection designed to be clean in place (CIP). It is constructed to have no exposed thread connections and no abrupt changes in the structure, thereby preventing any contaminant buildup. Weld-in TEE joint is made from corrosion resistant SS316L material, with tri clover connections for RTD mounting and open end pipe for in-line welding. SS304 mounting clamp and silicon rubber gasket are optional. The RTD sheath is built with SS316L. Reduced sheath assembly gives a faster response. Sheath length and TEE dimensions are user defined and are designed to meet customer requirements. The RTD sensors measure temperatures between -50 and 250°C. Its 2, 3 or 4 wire Pt100 element can be constructed in single or dual assembly in Class A/Class B as per the IEC 751 standard for RTD sensors. Terminals heads are supplied with standard 1/2” BSP (F) single cable entry with single compression cable gland. RTD sensors with SS terminal heads/transition joint assemblies are also available.
