A portable Touch Screen HMI based Data acquisition system was installed on the air circuit breakers at different locations to sense the overall temperature of all the elements. Total of 104 nos. of thermocouples parameter were acquired and data logged continuously for 8 hours during every test runs.  

7 nos. of  Radix make scanners ISOSCAN-x16y0 : Universal 16 Channel Analog Input were interfaces to 104 Thermocouples and connected to the HMI over multi-drop MODBUS RS 485 interface tolog the data. The temperature readings were logged at intervals defined by the user .This solution provided data logged everyday at a predefined time to be transferred to USB drive in excel format.

The data logged was available as excel and text reports where we provided an option for the user to select predefined file name or the user could define file name of the exported excel file. 

This systems find application with Pharmaceutical, Agriculture & Environment studies, Manufacturing Test bench and every place that has a requirement of portable Data logging.
