NEX20x is a series of full-featured PID controllers manufactured by Radix. With autotuning PID and fuzzy logic controls. These PID controllers are used in a host of industrial control applications for temperature, pressure, level, flow, humidity and other parameters. The NEX20x series comprises DIN sizes 116, ⅛ , ¼ (48x48, 48x96, 96x48, 96x96). These PID controllers are also available in flame proof (explosion proof) versions for hazardous applications. Variants include 2-zone and 3-zone PID Controller, 2-zone and 3-zone Indicator with Alarms, PID Controller with Ethernet and Data logging, PID Controller with Wi-Fi and Data logging.


With two universal inputs NEX202 comprises input types: 14 thermocouple inputs; RTDs inputs(Pt100/Cu53/JPT100); 4-20 mA and 0-10 V. There are 3 digital inputs with potential free contact closure in NEX202 and 2 isolated analog outputs for control/retransmission. In NEX202 the sensor break protection and cold junction compensation is customized by the user (or is user programmable). The control methods featured in this PID controller are ON/OFF, single/dual PID, 16-step profile, Heat+cool, AHU control.


The NEX202 features 5 relays with Direct/Reverse action and 12 VDC drive signals for external SSR. Its sampling interval can be set to either 50 ms or 200 ms, depending on the program configuration. In this PID Controller the maximum load for current output is 500 ohms and voltage output is greater than 10 Kohms. The PID controller features a large display, indicating Process Variable (19mm/0.75”) and Setpoint (11.4mm/0.45”). The communication in NEX202 includes MODBUS RTU connectivity with Isolated RS485 and the user programmable baud rate comprises from 2400 to 57600.


The NEX202 PID temperature controller has a supply voltage of 85-265 VAC with frequency 50/60 Hz or 20-55 VDC. Bumpless Auto/Manual control is provided. This PID controller contains ingress protection Front IP66 (IEC)/NEMA 4X rating with housing material ABS plastic with grade UL94V-0 in size 96x96x60 mm. Some programmable parameters in NEX202 include soft start, remote setpoint input function, user selectable resolution, 4 PID groups, alarm acknowledgement, single ramp/soak time and autotuning function
