NEX20x is a series of full-featured PID controllers manufactured by Radix. With autotuning PID and fuzzy logic controls, these PID controllers are used in a host of industrial control applications for temperature, pressure, level, flow, humidity and other parameters. The NEX20x series comprises DIN sizes 116, ⅛ , ¼ (48x48, 48x96, 96x48, 96x96). These PID controllers are also available in flame proof (explosion proof) versions for hazardous applications. Variants include 2-zone and 3-zone PID Controller, 2-zone and 3-zone Indicator with Alarms, PID Controller with Ethernet and Data logging, PID Controller with Wi-Fi and Data logging.

The NEX203 PID temperature controller comprises two universal inputs, each of which are 14 common types of thermocouples, pt RTDs, 4-20mA or 0-10V. Provided with 3 digital inputs with potential free contact closure, this PID controller has 2 isolated analog outputs (DC current - 4 to 20 mA, DC voltage - 0 to 10V) for control as well as retransmission. They can also be used as a setpoint output.

With direct/reverse control action NEX203 includes 5 relays. The alarms in this PID controller are handled through user key or digital input. NEX203 features a programmable auto-tuning function to determine best response as well as a start/stop/run/hold profile function to determine best response.This PID controller includes a bumpless auto/manual transfer operation with sampling interval set to either 50 ms or 200 ms, depending on the program configuration. NEX203 has Anti-reset windup function with user friendly keyboard interface and password protection.

This PID controller comprises 4 PID groups and control methods like single PID, dual PID, ON/OFF, 16-step profile and Heat+Cool. NEX203 has MODBUS RTU communication with Isolated RS485. Baud rates can be programmed from 2400 to 57600 baud. Indication in this PID controller comes with a large LED display for Process Variable(16.3mm/0.64”) and Setpoint (9mm/0.354”) including backlit LEDs with labels. The supply voltage required in NEX203 is 85-265 VAC with frequency 50/60 Hz or 20-55 VDC.

NEX203 PID Controller is housed in a 48x96x60 mm enclosure made of UL94V-0 ABS. It has an IP66 (IEC) / NEMA 4X rating. This CE certified PID controller carries a 3-year warranty.
